We are a carbon neutral company
Climate change is a scientifically proven reality. It is up to each person and company to decide how serious the outcome will be. That’s why we reduce our carbon footprint and support projects that release less CO2 into the atmosphere. However, we do not forget about local environmental projects.
Criteria of sustainable packaging
What properties does packaging need to have to be environmentally sustainable? We’re clear at Servisbal. We produce packaging that meets basic sustainability criteria.
5 principles of eco-friendly packaging
The use of packaging in practice determines its sustainability as much as the packaging itself. We have defined and follow 5 basic procedures.
Frequently asked questions
We are glad that you are not indifferent to the topic of ecology. Here is a summary of the most frequent questions that our customers ask us, which we have tried to answer as clearly as possible.
By being active in environmental activities (e.g. waste sorting), you are helping the environment. You are increasing the chances of the present and future generations to live in comfortable conditions.
In addition, non-compliance with certain environmental principles is subject to sanctions due to non-compliance with applicable legislative standards.
The carbon footprint is the sum of released greenhouse gases expressed in CO2 equivalents. This measure can be applied to all activities and products. It can refer to an individual, a product or an event.
Efforts to reduce the carbon footprint can be made by a company as part of company projects, and they do not necessarily have to be certified projects. For example, only a local “mini-project” will help, such as garbage collection in the vicinity of the company. But above all, it depends on each individual separately how they approach this issue. Do I sort waste? Is there anything I can do to limit paper consumption? How do I get to work? Even such seemingly banal matters affect the CO2 footprint.
In more demanding cases, you as a company can have the amount of emissions produced calculated by a certified company. These emissions can then be compensated by investments in climate protection projects (e.g. afforestation).
Corrugated cardboard is made from natural, biodegradable materials such as paper fibers and organic starch glue. It is therefore decomposable without negative consequences for the environment.
Plastic is a material made from petroleum derivatives and is almost indestructible in nature, unfortunately it is one of the biggest polluters of the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to sort it so that it is recycled and the negative consequences for biodiversity are eliminated as much as possible.
